Moderator is a new feature added on November 2, 2018 (The November Moderator Update day). On Builder Buddies Version 1.7.3
How to be a moderator[]
A mayor must assigned you to be a moderator in their town. The mayor must use /mod <player_name> command. Which will make you become a moderator in the town. While you are in the town, when you chat you will have a sword badge next to your name. And you have ability to timeout (mute) people in the town. To mute a person you must use /timeout command.
Types of person that moderators cannot mute
- Staff (Xavier Robledo)
- Global Moderators
- Mayor in their own town. (for example if you are a moderator at Diamond Falls you cannot mute the mayor of diamond falls.)
- Moderators in the town they were assigned (for example if you are a moderator at Diamond Falls you cannot mute other moderators of diamond falls.)
Easy timeout number guide (By Torrapicus Termite)[]
It's hard to estimate the time that you gonna mute a person. So Torrapicus Termite came up with a brilliant idea. 8s

Instead of finding out 1 days have 86400 seconds. Use 88888, it is much easier to memorize.
